Apples, Apples & More

Halloween has passed but Hinton’s Orchard is still here!  For the most part, pumpkins have stepped aside so that apples can once again take center stage.  You will find 8 varieties of delicious apples in the market — Golden Delicious, Winesap, Granny Smith, Cameo, Fuji, Arkansas Black, Gold Rush, and Pink Lady.   A few cooking pumpkins are hanging around as well as some small decorative gourds for your Thanksgiving centerpiece. Fresh baked bread, apple cider, sweet potatoes are also still in season.

Keep Hinton’s in mind as you make plans for the holidays.  A full selection of fruit baskets will be available by order as well as gift baskets using any of Hinton’s great gourmet food products.  Also, let Hinton’s Kitchen take care of your baked good needs whether it is a loaf of fresh bread, a pumpkin pie, or a jam cake.  For a full list of basket and baked good options click here.

Market hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am – 5 pm throughout November.  The market will be closed Sundays and Thanksgiving Day.
