Hinton’s Orchard offers educational field trips for children of all ages. Tours begin in April and continue through the end of October. Each season brings a different and unique tour focus. Kentucky core content materials are integrated to assist in teaching students about how crops grow and why the crops are important to all of us.
Note: These tours are offered Monday – Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.
Program options change with the seasons, but always include a discussion of the apple crop. Outlines for all tour options are listed in the downloadable form here.
Pricing is for groups of 10 or more. Teachers and staff are admitted free of charge. Parent chaperones pay $1.00 per person. If you have questions or would like to schedule a group please call (270) 325-3854 or email Joanna.
