October brings a real sense of the fall season and also fall break for many students. Hinton’s Orchard is ready to celebrate the break from school with fun activities during the week of October 5 – 9. Our 10th anniversary corn maze and Hinton’s FarmLand play area are open and the hayride wagon will be running to the pumpkin patch all week! For a $5 admission you can enjoy all of the great farm activities this week (children 2 & under are free).
You will find plenty of pumpkins to choose from both in the patch and already picked. You can also find mums, corn shocks, and straw bales to satisfy all of your fall decorating needs. Inside the market, you can shop from six varieties of apples, fresh apple cider, a variety of vegetables, fresh baked bread, caramel apples, our famous pumpkin pie ice cream, and MUCH more.
If you can’t make it to the farm during the week, this Saturday, October 10th is the 2015 PumpkinFest! All of our fun activities along with live music and some fun pumpkin games. Every October weekend is a party at Hinton’s!
Don’t forget about Hinton’s Fall Shoppe in Elizabethtown if you need to stock up on mums, apples, pumpkins, or fresh bread. Some of the big box stores may be running out of beautiful mums, but we still have a great selection of sizes and colors.
Farm market hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am – 6 pm and Sundays 1 – 6 pm. In Elizabethtown, Fall Shoppe hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am – 6 pm, closed Sundays. Stop in a Hinton’s location today!
