The month of May is winding down which means the beginning of the summer season. At both Hinton’s Orchard markets, you will find our fresh picked strawberries as well as the beginning of garden vegetables — squash, zucchini, and cabbage. Both markets are also still stocked with flowers, vegetable plants, and herbs to finish your plantings as well as hanging baskets and containers.
As we begin adding summer vegetables to our markets, the produce available changes nearly every day. Make sure you stop in often to get the freshest and newest offerings!
Don’t forget that Hinton’s carries fresh local beef from Davis Bend Farm and Penn’s country ham and sausage. These great Kentucky products go well with our fruits and vegetables, especially on the grill!
Farm Market hours are Monday – Saturday 9 am – 6 pm through the month of June. The Elizabethtown market is open Monday – Saturday 9 am – 6 pm and Sundays 1 – 6 pm (closed Father’s Day).
