Open for the Season

Welcome Spring!  Hinton’s Orchard & Farm Market is now open for the 2013 season.  The greenhouse is full of flowers & hanging baskets as well as a wide selection of herbs and vegetable plants.  Inside the market you will find early vegetables including asparagus as well as fresh bread from Hinton’s Kitchen, our homemade peanut butter, and all of your favorite preserves, salsas, and fruit butters.  Vanilla and Hinton’s own Strawberry ice cream will be available Thursday – Saturday.

The peach blooms as waning, but the apple blossoms are about to explode.  It is truly a beautiful time to be at the farm.

Market hours are from 9 am – 6 pm Monday through Saturday.  Stop in and see what’s new this spring at Hinton’s Orchard!

We’re getting lots of questions about how the re We’re getting lots of questions about how the recovery from the storm is going and we appreciate the concern. We had a great week this week and made lots of progress. Monday we had a crew come and rebuild one of the greenhouses that we lost. Tuesday a crew started working on a barn we use for equipment and supply storage and they fixed the roof and rebuilt damaged doors. Friday, a third contractor got started working on the market building and It’s about halfway replaced. Hoping this week will finish up that roof, the we can get to work on ceilings and drywall and hopefully move back into the kitchen soon! It’s taken some time, but we’re getting there! Thanks for all your words of encouragement, prayers, and concern. We appreciate them all!
