Strawberry season has finally arrived at Hinton’s Orchard! With the return of sunshine we hope to have a consistent supply of strawberries through Memorial Day weekend. Fresh picked strawberries can be found at both at the farm and at the Elizabethtown market. Due to the condition of the strawberry patches, no U pick will be allowed this season.
Since the sunshine and warm temperatures are finally returning, don’t forget about Hinton’s when you are looking for vegetable plants and herbs for your garden. We have a full selection of all the yummy things that you want to grow this summer. You will even find two varieties of strawberry plants for sale to grow your own for next season!
Still need flowers, hanging baskets, and pots? Hinton’s can take care of that too. A full selection of annual and perennial plants are still available. Most flowers and vegetable plants are available both at the farm and the Elizabethtown market.
As always, both markets also have fresh baked bread, homemade peanut butter, Penn’s Country ham products, salsas, fruit butters, and much more.
Both markets are open Monday – Saturday 9 am – 6 pm. The Elizabethtown market is open Sundays from Noon – 5. We hope to see you soon at a Hinton’s Orchard location!
